Melissa offers 25 years of experience that includes working with adults and teenagers with depression, anxiety, ADHD, bi-polar, trauma, substance abuse, LGBTQ issues, end of life issues, and life transition difficulties. Marlene enjoys spending time with her family and cuddling her doggie. She also has 1 adorable, small, and slightly aggressive Chihuahua. In her personal life, Marlene is married, was formerly a foster parent and is now an adoptive parent to 4 amazing, strong resilient kids, in which one child has high functioning autism. Marlene has completed the PCIT (Parent Child Interaction Therapy) training, with the pursuit of becoming fully licensed and is currently accepting clients for this program. Marlene enjoys working with all age groups and continues to work towards expanding her knowledge in working with individuals that have been diagnosed with Autism and individuals that would benefit from TF-CBT (Trauma Focused - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy).
